In The Trees 3ds max, Photoshop July 2006
This is my entry for the "Journey Begins" challenge. I had a great time doing it and participating. I also learned a lot in the process. It's mostly 2D (painted in PS) with a little 3D (bridges, doors and windows). This is my first attempt at matte painting after watching the Dylan Cole DVDs. I was trying to bring across a sense of depth through the use of atmosphere, color and layering. Any feedback on how to improve or tips for my next piece are very much appreciated.
